I had to persuade them to stop for lunch, the boys were machines! A solid 8 hours of moving furniture and they didn't miss a beat. We would highly recommend GK removals to anyone who is moving. I'm sorry for not emailing you earlier than this but I need to let you know how it went with my move in October 2013.
George arranged for 2 trucks for come to my place the morning of the move. One was loaded and went straight to the new house while the other was half load then went to a storage facility and picked up more of my belongings.
Right from the first moment George and his crew turned up I knew I was in safe hands with your company. Nothing was a problem, nothing was too heavy. Every one of the team was very friendly and helpful and did little things for me that I didn't expect like putting the lounge back together, making sure breakables were safe, making sure the kettle was in sight. These people made what is usually a very stressful day, very nice and relaxed. They talked to us all day and never made us feel like anything was a bother.
I asked George for a quote and he didn't come to the house to do it, he looked at photos and talked to me on the phone and I think he was about $10 out. You couldn't get any better than that.

We would like to thank you for another successful move for one of our family. We reflected that this was the fifth move you guys have done for our family, and with three young adult children we assure you it won’t be the last as those rental leases end all to soon, and they all seem to like to live upstairs.
We are so very grateful for one of Helen’s work colleagues when she put us on to GK Removals some six years ago. You probably don’t realise that making a good choice to get a professional, highly skilled, very flexible, value for money and amazingly reliable removalist is not an easy task, but hey, we have hit the jackpot in choosing you guys so we will keep on using you. Every time we have called you have bent over backwards to make the time and date we need and then delivered an exceptional service. There is one apartment in Watson which had the tightest entry imaginable and it looked like two major pieces of furniture would never fit through that entry, but never isn’t a word used by George. All in, unscathed. Impressive work!!
We can’t recommend GK Removals more highly and we would say to anyone needing a removalist, save yourself the time and effort in looking any further; you won’t receive a better service and greater value for money.

Over the years we have had lots of moves, including to Tasmania and back. However we have never been lucky enough to have a removal company that provided the service that GK Removals did. Moving house is such a stressful time but we can honestly say that due to the professionalism, efficiency and friendliness of the staff we were really relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, whether it was rearranging where the wall unit was or moving boxes to different rooms; an amazing team of people we were lucky to have. Thank you for a fantastic job.

After spending the better part of 30 years in the joinery industry in Canberra, I have used lots of different forms of transportation for my finished goods, that is until I came across GK removals. We have been using GK removals for the past 15 years exclusively to transport our custom furniture & joinery directly to our clients and will continue to do so for the remainder of my working life. I Just moved house from ACT to NSW Central coast. After much apprehension about the move and perusing several quotes, decided to accept GK Removals in Canberra
My home was packed on the Friday morning with such care & consideration, Tuesday morning two gentleman arrived (on time) loaded all my belongings, Wednesday morning arrived (on time again) and with the same care moved everything into my new home.
I cannot speak highly enough of the two gentlemen that moved me to the coast. Nothing was too much trouble.

We have been meaning to let you know that we were very pleased with the service you provided. Your three young men turned up about 15 minutes early which was most impressive.
Upon arrival here, the heavy wall units did not look right where we had marked them on our floor-plans and they obligingly changed them around for us. Shortly afterwards I received a phone call about my sister having passed away in Palliative care in Brisbane. They were all most respectful of me letting out a few howls before getting on with the job on hand.
You have a team to be proud off. Well done.
